Frequently asked questions

Which format should I choose?

Tabata (20 s of work, 10 s of rest, 8 rounds) is short and very intense. HIIT 40/20 or 30/30 lasts longer at a slightly lower intensity. EMOM gives you one effort per minute, and the rest of the minute to recover. A circuit chains named exercises.

Can it announce the steps out loud?

Yes, if your device has a built-in voice for your language: turn on “Say each step out loud” in the settings. The text never leaves your device. Otherwise, a sound marks each step and beeps count down the last three seconds.

Is interval training safe?

Warm up first, start at a moderate pace and stop if you feel pain or dizziness. High-intensity training is not suitable for everyone: if you have any doubt, ask a doctor. This timer is not medical advice.
